Saturday Fun
It's nice to be back into weekend mode (both my MBA apps. are in, and am able to breathe a little easier now). We went to an indoor playhouse, and were easily amused with adults go-karting on kiddie cars, safety gates that we couldn't open, and the sheer cacophony that reverberated through the building. Rhea had a ball of a time too, and here's a slideshow of her enjoying her bumpy little plane.
We were invited over to our neighbor's place for an adult and kiddie "playdate". All the bacchas had fun! I will let the pictures do the talking.

Rhea Eats Solid! (To be read in Bambaiya accent!)
Maybe it is the fact that she is teething and it gives her relief or maybe she loves experiencing new tastes...Rhea loves eating solids. So far we have tried pears, apples, rice, oat meal, sweet potatoes, carrots and peas and even dal. Quite an impressive appetite the little one has!
PS - Mumbaikars, I hope the title of this post tickled you as much as it tickled me!

Six Months Old!
Rhea turned 6 months yesterday. Having her in our lives has altered our lives so much...here's a very heart warming post here about how having a baby changes you. A quick lowdown of what she's been up to so far:- Eating with great relish. It's so much fun watching her smack her lips and practically jump from her high-chair when she's eating. She literally can't wait for the next spoonful. Her absolute favorite is carrots, and doesn't seem to care for apple-sauce at all.
- Realizing that it is possible to completely shut her lips so the pacifier can't get in. Sigh! - it used to be so easy to put her to sleep before.
- Rolling over all the time. She's even pushing herself with her head and feet and moving backwards. She's out of her play mat in no time at all.
- Vigorously shaking all her toys. She has so much more strength now than before - she can practically turn over her box of toys, grab her fishie mirror and play with it vigorously.
- Getting distracted easily - She is not interested in reading at all - why would she when there are so many more interesting things around to distract her?
- Holding her feet up for a diaper change in a yoga pose. Next up - teaching her to hold her milk bottle :)
- Skyping with grand parents every weekend. We've also set up a web cam near her play mat so she can continue doing her thing while the proud grandmoms watch on.
